Two brothers have been jailed after trying, and failing, to blow up the same ATM, twice.

David Culshaw, 49, and Michael Culshaw, 51 from Greater Manchester in the UK were put behind bars after leaving DNA on the scene.

In the CCTV footage, the siblings flee the flames from the ATM, empty handed.

In their first attempt, the brothers tried to cause an explosion using a gas canister but only caused minor damage to the cash machine. Their second attempt caused the ATM to explode, but they were caught up in flames and one of the brothers almost blew himself up.

The duo were sentenced to 10 years in prison at Liverpool Crown Court on May 2, after pleading guilty to attempting to rob money from an ATM.
